International 9th ASA Recycling Days

The International ASA Recycling Days are a biennial conference on Mechanical-Biological
Treatment (MBT) of waste, organised by the German association of MBT operators (ASA).
Presenting the practical experience of MBT operators is the main subject of the event. The
International 9th ASA Recycling Days will be held from the 29th of February to the 2nd of
March 2012 in Hanover, Germany, with the subtitle “MBT as a Supplier of Secondary Raw
Materials.“ 

In addition to technical presentations on conversion, construction and optimisation of the
existing plants, the conference is devoted to the legal and political frame conditions on the
national and European level. The conference is divided into the following topics:

Block II:        Political, legal and economical frame conditions
Block III:        Consequences of new frame conditions
Block IV:        Development potential of MBT technology
Block V:        Optimisation of MBT
Block VI:        Anaerobic digestion (AD) of separately collected organic waste (Bio waste) -
